Developed at Auburn University, this tree produces fruit that is ideal for canning, preserving and fresh eating. Fruit is very large and is delicious, sweet and juicy. These plums have a sweet red flesh and very dark red skin. Ripens mid-late June. Partially self fertile, but will produce much better when pollinated with another AU variety or the Methley plum. Ideal for zones 5-9 and requires 650 chill hours.
