The image shows the historic Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site in St. Francisville, Louisiana.
The 16-room house was commissioned in 1835 by Daniel and Martha Turnbull and built by enslaved people.
It is considered one of the most documented and intact plantation complexes in the Southern United States.
The plantation is known for its extensive 28 acres of formal gardens, inspired by European gardens the Turnbulls visited on their honeymoon.
The site features monumental live oak trees, which form an impressive avenue leading to the house.
