Originally known as the Berkeley-Carteret Hotel, it has been a landmark on the Asbury Park boardwalk since 1925.
The hotel was designed by the architectural firm Warren & Wetmore, which also designed New York City's Grand Central Terminal.
It has hosted Hollywood royalty like Frank Sinatra and was even owned by Johnny C-ash for a period.
