This is a vintage linen postcard featuring an aerial view of the Atlantic City Auditorium and Convention Hall, now known as Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
The postcard image is titled "LOOKING FROM OCEAN, SHOWING ATLANTIC CITY AUDITORIUM AND CONVENTION HALL. ATLANTIC CITY, N. J.".
The original Convention Hall opened in 1929 and was at the time the largest auditorium in the world.
It encompasses an entire city block and has hosted events like the Miss America Pageant and the 1964 Democratic Convention.
The venue is still home to the world's largest pipe organ.
