The image is a vintage postcard of the Huey P. Long Monument in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The monument features a 12-foot-tall bronze statue of Huey P. Long atop an 18-foot-tall marble pedestal.
It is located on the grounds of the Louisiana State Capitol, the building he commissioned during his term as governor.
Long, nicknamed "The Kingfish," was a prominent and controversial U.S. Senator and Governor of Louisiana in the early 20th century.
He was assassinated in the Capitol building in 1935 and is buried beneath the monument.
The statue was erected in 1940
