This is a vintage linen postcard of the Louisiana State Capitol building in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is the tallest state capitol in the United States, standing 450 feet high with 34 floors.

The postcard is from the linen era, approximately 1930–1945.
The building was constructed between 1930 and 1932 under the direction of Governor Huey P. Long.
It sits on 27 acres of landscaped grounds that include gardens and the grave of Huey P. Long.
The building is known for its distinctive Art Deco architecture.
An observation deck is open to the public, offering panoramic views of Baton Rouge.
