This vintage postcard depicts the McKim Building of the Boston Public Library in Copley Square, Boston, Massachusetts.
The building was designed by the architect Charles Follen McKim in the Renaissance Revival style and opened in 1895.

The library was the first large free municipal library in the United States, established in 1848.
