The image is a postcard of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston, Massachusetts.
It is located at 138 Tremont Street, across from Boston Common.
Completed in 1820, it was the first major Greek Revival-style building erected in New England.
The vacant pediment above the entrance was originally intended for a sculpture of Paul preaching at Athens.
The building is an active Episcopal Cathedral and the historic cathedral church of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.
