This vintage postcard captures the iconic Rainbow Row in Charleston, South Carolina, likely from the 1960s based on the automobiles pictured.
Rainbow Row is a series of thirteen historic, pastel-colored houses located on East Bay Street in downtown Charleston.
The houses were built in the 1700s and fell into disrepair after the Civil War.
In the 1930s and 1940s, Dorothy Porcher Legge and other homeowners began restoring and painting the facades in vibrant, Caribbean-inspired colors, which helped revitalize the area.
It is one of Charleston's most famous and photographed landmarks, symbolizing the city's rich history and preservation efforts.
The white car in the image is a 1957 Buick Roadmaster 75.
