Plant Gold Dust in well-drained soil containing a mix of perlite and sphagnum moss. Cut back dead leaves to the main stem as necessary. To maintain a compact look, cut back any long stems as necessary. Pots must have drainage holes.
Water Gold Dust regularly to keep the soil damp. Let the excess water drain from the pot. Mist leaves regularly to maintain humidity.
Apply slow-release fertilizer in early spring.
