The image is a vintage postcard of Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas, a National Historic Landmark known as the site of the John F. Kennedy assassination.
The large brick building on the left is the former Texas School Book Depository, which now houses The Sixth Floor Museum.
The plaza was originally built as the western gateway to downtown Dallas.
The structures with white columns are part of the landscape design completed in the 1940s, and the area includes a nearby John F. Kennedy Memorial designed by architect Philip Johnson.
The red-brick building with the tower on the right is the 1891 "Old Red" Courthouse.
