This is a vintage postcard of the Hotel Van Cleve in Dayton, Ohio.
The hotel was built in 1927.
It was known for amenities like the Mayfair Room, Redwood Room, and the Wagon Wheel Bar.
In 1948, the lead engineers from Boeing famously redesigned the B-52 Stratofortress bomber concept while staying at the hotel over a weekend.
The building was acquired by the Christ Episcopal Church in 1967 and subsequently demolished in 1969 to make way for a parking lot.
