The image is a vintage postcard of the former U.S. Post Office and Federal Building in Denver, Colorado. The building, completed in 1916, is now known as the Byron White United States Courthouse.
The building is constructed of Colorado white marble in a neoclassical style and cost \$2.5 million.
It occupies an entire city block in the business district and has been described as "a poem in marble".
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
The post office moved to a new location in 1994, and the building was converted to a courthouse for the federal court system and renamed in honor of Justice Byron White.
