The image is a vintage postcard of the building originally known as the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse in Denver, Colorado. It is now the Byron R. White U.S. Courthouse.
The building was constructed in 1936-1937 and completed in 1938.
It is an excellent example of Neo-Classical architecture.
The structure is a notable downtown Denver landmark and was described as "a poem in marble".
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and renamed after Supreme Court Justice Byron White in 1994.
