__________
The image is a vintage postcard of Lee's Museum in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This building, also known as General Lee's Headquarters, is a historic site from the American Civil War.
The small stone house served as General Robert E. Lee's personal headquarters during the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863.
The property stands directly across from Seminary Ridge, where much of the battle took place.
The postcard indicates it was a museum at the time of printing, displaying "one of the rarest collections of Gettysburg relics".
The American Battlefield Trust has since worked to restore the site to its 1863 appearance, and it is now open to the public as a historical site.
