The image is a postcard of the Stonewall Jackson Death Site, a historic site in Woodford, Virginia. The small white building is the former farm office of the Fairfield Plantation, where Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson died on May 10, 1863.
Jackson was wounded by friendly fire during the Battle of Chancellorsville and was brought to this location (then known as Guinea Station) to recuperate before a planned transfer to Richmond.
The building was originally an office on a large slave plantation complex.
Today, the site is managed by the National Park Service and is the only remaining structure of the original Fairfield Plantation complex.
The grounds are open to the public daily, while the building is open seasonally.
