Hattiesburg MS Mississippi Methodist Hospital White Border Postcard Unused

This is a vintage postcard featuring the Methodist Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The hospital, originally chartered in 1921 after the Methodists purchased the site, served the community from this location until 1980.
Key details:
The building shown was constructed in 1927 to replace a previous structure.
The hospital was later known as Wesley Medical Center and is now Merit Health Wesley.
After the hospital moved, the original building was used by the Hattiesburg Police Department and Municipal Court for several years.
The original building was left intact when additions were demolished in 2016.
