A classic Peppermint flavor; for a twist on this flavor. Peppermint has an upright habit of 12-24 inches and spreads at least 1-2 feet. Unchecked, it will spread indefinitely via rhizomes. It is hardy in zones 5-9 and blooms with small pink flowers in July and August. It is most commonly grown in containers or herb gardens for its culinary use, or as ground cover. It can be used for making tea, garnishing beverages or dishes, and dried for potpourri.
