This is a vintage postcard of the Mount Tom Summit House in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The original building was constructed in 1897, but the one pictured here replaced it in 1901 after a fire. The structure was a large, three-story building, 76 feet wide by 104 feet long. It was destroyed by another fire in 1929.
