It is located at the corner of Mulberry and Second Street.
The current brick Gothic Revival building's cornerstone was laid in 1854, and it was consecrated in 1858.
The church was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
The graveyard is much older than the present church, with some gravestones dating back to the early 1700s.
