The mansion, also known as the McClymonds House, was built in 1894 and designed by architect Charles F. Schweinfurth.
It is an example of Gothic, Tudor, and French Renaissance architectural styles.
Five Oaks has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 1973.
It is owned by the Massillon Heritage Foundation and is used as a venue for tours and events.
