The image is a vintage postcard featuring the Naugatuck High School building in Naugatuck, Connecticut.
The building, now known as Hillside Intermediate School, was built in 1905 and opened in 1906.
It exemplifies Neo-Classical Revival architecture and was designed by the renowned architectural firm McKim, Mead & White.
The school's design, which features a monumental Ionic colonnade, was inspired by Greek and Roman Classical forms.
Upon its completion, the school was recognized in Ripley's Believe It or Not for having entrances on three different levels due to its unique site on a hill.
