This is a vintage postcard of a Howard Johnson's Restaurant on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, near New Stanton, PA.

The postcard is an unused, vintage item from the 1960s.
Howard Johnson's was an iconic roadside restaurant and lodging chain in the United States, known for its orange roofs and 28 flavors of ice cream.
The chain was one of the first nationwide restaurant chains, with over 400 restaurants in 32 states by 1954.
The last remaining Howard Johnson's restaurant in the U.S. closed in Lake George, New York, in 2022.
