The hotel was located at Lexington Avenue and 49th Street in New York City.
It was built in 1928 and initially opened as the Hotel Montclair.
The hotel was known for its "Glass Hat" restaurant, where Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis first performed as a comedy team.
