This is a vintage postcard of the former U.S. Post Office in Newark, New Jersey.
The building was located at the corner of Broad and Academy Streets in Newark.
It was built in 1896 and served as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey from 1913 to 1936.
The structure was razed in 1937.
The postcard was published by the Souvenir Post Card Co., New York and Berlin.
A handwritten message at the bottom reads, "I wish you were here. it is a grand place. Nina".
