_________

The image is a vintage linen postcard from around the 1930s-1940s, showing the interior of the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
The text on the postcard identifies the subject as the "Interior of Methodist Auditorium, showing Largest Organ in the World, Ocean Grove, N. J.".
The organ was originally built in 1908 by Robert Hope-Jones and was indeed considered the largest organ in the world at the time of its installation.
While no longer the largest in the world, the organ has grown over the years to over 10,000 pipes and is still one of the largest pipe organs in the United States.
The auditorium itself was built in 1894 and has a seating capacity of around 7,000 people.
The organ is still used for worship services and a popular summer concert series.
