Pike's Peak CO Colorado Summit House Stamp 1930s White Border Postcard Unused

This image is a vintage postcard of the former Summit House on Pikes Peak, Colorado.
It served as a weather station and the first summit house for climbers starting in the late 19th century.
The postcard indicates the altitude as 14,110 feet.
This structure was replaced in 1964 and then by a new, modern Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center which opened in June 2021.
