The image is of the Rocky Mount State Historic Site, also known as the Cobb-Massengill House, located in Piney Flats, Tennessee.
This historic log house served as the first territorial capital of the Southwest Territory from 1790 to 1792.
William Cobb and his family settled in the area in 1769, and the home hosted Governor William Blount, who was appointed by President George Washington.
Today, the site operates as a living history museum, offering visitors a glimpse into life on the frontier in 1791 through costumed interpreters and historic structures.
The house stayed in the Cobb family until 1958 and opened to the public as a historic site in 1962.
