The image shows a historic building identified as the birthplace of Andrew Johnson, the 17th President of the United States.
Johnson was born in this small, gambrel-roofed building in Raleigh, North Carolina, on December 29, 1808.
The structure originally served as the detached kitchen for Peter Casso's Inn and housed the four members of the Johnson family.
The building's authenticity as the true birthplace has been debated by historians, but it was purchased in 1904 by the North Carolina Society of the Colonial Dames of America for preservation.
It has been relocated multiple times and is currently preserved at Mordecai Historic Park in Raleigh, NC.
