The image shows the John Greenleaf Whittier Birthplace in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
The historic home and farmstead is the setting for Whittier's famous poem, "Snow-Bound".
John Greenleaf Whittier, a prominent 19th-century American poet and abolitionist, was born in the house in 1807 and lived there until 1836.
The property is preserved as a museum to honor his literary and abolitionist legacy and is largely unchanged from his time there.
The original house was built in 1688 by Whittier's great, great grandfather and was a four-room cottage.
