________

The image is a postcard featuring the original location of the Boston Children's Museum, known as the Pinebank Mansion, situated on Jamaica Pond in Massachusetts.
The museum was founded in 1913 by a group of teachers in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
It was housed in this building from approximately 1914 to 1936.
The museum later moved to a larger facility across from the pond at 60 Burroughs Street due to outgrowing this original location.
The Boston Children's Museum is the second oldest children's museum in the United States.
