This is a vintage postcard of Hodge Hall at the Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey.
The building is named after Charles Hodge, a prominent American Presbyterian theologian who served as a professor at the seminary from 1822 until his death in 1878.
Hodge was a key figure in the "Old Princeton" school of theology and authored an influential three-volume Systematic Theology.
He also founded and edited the Biblical Repertory and Princeton Review for 46 years, a leading theological journal of the 19th century.
Princeton Theological Seminary was established in 1812 as a separate institution for training ministers.
