John Adams, the second U.S. President, was born in the house on the left in 1735.
John Quincy Adams, the sixth U.S. President, was born in the house on the right in 1767.
The houses are historically significant as the site where both presidents were born and where John Adams drafted the Massachusetts Constitution.
