_________

The image is a vintage postcard of the former U.S. Post Office in Rochester, New York. The building has since been remodeled and is presently Rochester's City Hall.
The postcard features a classical architectural style with prominent columns and large windows.
The U.S. government stopped using this building about 1990 when the main post office headquarters moved to Henrietta, a suburb of Rochester.
The building, located on Church Street, was designed by the architect John McG Miller.
Many people have fond memories of the building, recalling its murals, high ceilings, and even a small candy store inside
