The Thistle Chapel is the chapel for the Knights of the Order of the Thistle, Scotland's foremost order of chivalry.
It was designed by architect Robert Lorimer and completed in 1911 in the High Gothic architectural style of the 15th century.
The chapel contains stalls for the 16 knights, the Sovereign's stall, and two Royal stalls, all featuring rich religious and heraldic carvings.
