The image features the Percy Cottage, a historic building located in the Victorian village of Historic Rugby, Tennessee.
Location and History: Historic Rugby was founded in 1880 by English author Thomas Hughes as a utopian agricultural colony for the "second sons" of the English gentry.
Percy Cottage Details: The Percy Cottage was originally built in 1884 by Sir Henry Kimber, a financial backer of the colony. The cottage has three bedrooms and was reconstructed on its original foundation in 1977 after falling into disrepair.
Current Status: The village of Rugby is now a historic site, with nearly 85 people living in the preserved homes, and it functions partly as a museum, attracting visitors to its events and preserved Victorian architecture.
