San Diego CA California El Cortez Motel 50s-60s Chrome Postcard Unused

This is a vintage postcard of the historic El Cortez Hotel in San Diego, California.
The hotel was built from 1926 to 1927 and was the tallest building in San Diego when it opened.
It is located on a hill at the north end of Downtown San Diego and dominated the city skyline for many years.
The building's Spanish Colonial Revival architectural style is a nod to its historic past.
The hotel has since been converted into residential condominiums and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
