The image is a postcard of the Misión San Francisco de Asís, commonly known as Mission Dolores.
It is the oldest intact mission chapel in California and the oldest building in San Francisco.
The mission was founded on October 9, 1776, during the Spanish colonization.
Construction of the current adobe church building was completed in 1791.
The mission survived the great 1906 San Francisco earthquake.
