This image is a vintage postcard of the Santa Barbara Biltmore Hotel in Montecito, California.

The hotel opened in 1927 and is known for its landmark Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and gardens.
It is located on Butterfly Beach, between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains.
The hotel quickly became a popular retreat for Old Hollywood celebrities.
It currently operates as the Four Seasons Resort—The Biltmore Santa Barbara.
The resort is temporarily closed for renovations and is expected to reopen in 2026.
