The image is a postcard of the Old State Capitol State Historic Site in Springfield, Illinois.

It served as the fifth state capitol building for Illinois from 1840 to 1876.
The building is known as the location where Abraham Lincoln gave his famous "House Divided" speech in 1858.
It was built in the Greek Revival style between 1837 and 1840.
The site was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961.
