This image is a vintage postcard of the historic Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri.
It was once one of the largest and busiest passenger rail terminals in the world, opening in 1894.
The station was designed by architect Theodore Link in the Romanesque Revival style.
It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1970.
Passenger trains ceased operation at the station in 1978, and it has since been redeveloped into an entertainment complex.
