Construction: The courthouse was built between 1932 and 1933.
Architects: It was designed by Ormond R. Bean and William Holford of the firm Lawrence, Holford, Allyn & Bean.
Architecture: The three-story structure is made of buff-colored brick and concrete and is considered among Oregon's noteworthy examples of public architecture from that era, sometimes labeled as "Half Modern" style.
The two-door fastback car prominently featured in the foreground appears to be a 1949 or 1950 Oldsmobile model, potentially an 88 or 98 series.
