This vintage postcard features the Memorial Bell Tower at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, a striking landmark dedicated in 1953. The tower stands 114 feet tall and houses a carillonneur's room along with a memorial room containing honor rolls, memorials, beautiful stained glass windows, and carved friezes. The specially designed belfry contains the seven octave 56 bell National Carillon, an impressive musical instrument of historical significance.
Printed by Genuine Curt Teich Chicago using their iconic 'C.T. Art-Colortone' process, this linen postcard reflects the vibrant printing style popular in mid-20th century Americana collectibles.
