This vintage postcard depicts the former Dibble's Inn Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge in Vernon, New York. Originally a residence built in the mid-1850s for Charles Cushman, it was converted into an inn and restaurant by Roy and his wife in 1936.
The property was purchased by Hans Holl in 1951 and then by Mrs. John Lichorowic in 1956.
It was located on U.S. Route 5 in Vernon.
The image captures the historic building with its distinctive Victorian architecture and a modern glass-enclosed addition.
The property served as a popular local establishment for many years
