________
The image is a vintage postcard of the Mid-Town Motel in Burlington, Vermont.
The motel was located on Main Street, reportedly near the county jail and the auditorium.
It opened in 1957 and was known for its distinct two-story, green-painted architecture with external corridors and covered parking underneath the second floor.
In later years, the motel gained a notorious reputation and was sometimes referred to as the "no-tell motel".
The original owner closed the business in 1995 after being a victim of a criminal attack, and the building is reportedly no longer standing.
