The image is a vintage postcard featuring the Supreme Court Building of Puerto Rico in San Juan.
The building is the seat of the highest court in the U.S. territory.
It is located within the grounds of the Luis Muñoz Rivera Park in the Puerta de Tierra historic district.
The three-story, reinforced concrete courthouse was designed in 1952 by the local firm Toro-Ferrer, in collaboration with Charles H. Warner, Jr.
Its primary function is to interpret the Constitution and laws of Puerto Rico.
