The building shown is the Memorial Continental Hall in Washington, D.C., which serves as the national headquarters for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) organization.

It was completed in 1910 and is the oldest of the three buildings that form the DAR complex.
The hall was designed by architect Edward Pearce Casey and quickly became recognized as one of Washington's most elegant buildings.
It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1935.
A significant historical event hosted here was the Conference on the Limitation of Armaments in 1921, following WWI.
