The image is a postcard featuring the Daniel Morgan House in Winchester, Virginia.
The house, also known as "Amber Hill," was built around 1790 for General Daniel Morgan's daughter, Mrs. Betsy Heard.
General Morgan, a famed Revolutionary War general, later retired to the house in 1800 and lived there until his death in 1802.
The late Georgian-style residence underwent several expansions over the years, eventually becoming a 17-room home.
It is located on Amherst Street in Winchester, Virginia.
